Weekly Email #3

 Hello everyone!! Yesterday was one month of being a missionary haha… we only have two weeks left here at the CCM and everyday I get more nervous about going to Puerto Rico and actually having to use Spanish haha… 

This week was pretty good!! The song of the week was definitely enchanted by Taylor swift haha sooo in honor of you reading this you should probably go listen to it! 
On Thursday night elder brink and argyle taught one of the workshops and they did realyyy good!! 
On Friday we had helping others again and it was a struggle this week haha… Understanding the lady on the zoom was reallyyyyy hard so it didn'tgo as well this week haha!
Sunday morning we were like 5 minutes away from being ready to go and the fire alarm went off haha so we all went out like half ready and it was terrible haha … Sunday night devotional was sooo good!!! It was all about the atonement of christ and it was really cool to hear a different way to think about the atonement! 
Monday we started our solo español weeks sooo that's been hard to speak full Spanish in classes… Also on monday our flight plans came!!! We leave on the 28th!!! so thats actually wild…
Today we got to go to the temple again!!!! It's sooo pretty and just has the best feeling inside!!! 
My thought for this is in Mosiah 27:29
“ My soul hath been redeemed from the gall of bitterness and bonds of iniquity. I was in the darkest abyss; but now I behold the marvelous light of God. My soul was racked with eternal torment; but I am snatched, and my soul is pained no more.”
I love how Alma talks about how Christ redeemed him and his soul is pained no more!! I hope that each of us can let christ into our souls and let him “snatch” us from our pains, afflictions, and sins! I know that when we let the light of christ into our souls like Alma that we can have more joy and peace in our lives!!

20 Years Old!

  Good morning to all!! And happy mondayyyyy  mission tour  • okkkk so this week was super lit!! We had elder cordon of the seventy come tour our mission and we had zone conference with him on thursday!!! And it was sooooo amazingggg   in the morning we had a comp study with our mission president and his wife AND elder cordon and sister cordon in our house... so that was a little scaryyy at first but i learned soooo much about what we as missionaries can do to improve our missionary skill set!! And then we had zone conference and the spirit was soooooo strong!!! I loved it and literally learned so much!!!  my birthday    • on friday it was my birthday   and im offially out of teenage years although i feel the same... shocker... buttt anyway my comp had to go to san juan so i was actually on an exchange for like half of the day haha... butttt i was super fun and we went and got these ice cream rolls and they were soooooo good   ...
